On behalf of this organisation, AMS is looking for a Paralegal - UK Regulations for a 6-month contract, based hybrid in London.
Purpose of the Role:
To work at the forefront of the financial services industry, ensuring compliance and supporting regulatory frameworks.
As a Paralegal - UK Regulations, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with regulatory watch process, including identifying and communicating on regulatory watch texts and assisting with the maintenance of our regulatory watch dashboard and other trackers.
Preparing impact assessments of new texts.
Preparing newsletters on UK regulatory change texts.
Supporting governance, the UK Regulatory team leads on, including the ESG Forum and UK RegCo, and assisting with contributions to the UK LEGAL Transversal meeting (for the RW section), the CIB EMEA Legal RW Committee and the Group RW Committee.
Supporting training initiatives and guidance notes prepared by the UK Regulatory team.
Supporting reporting UK Regulatory Legal asked to submit.
Identifying information relating to UK regulatory change and communicating it via newsletters.What we require from the candidate:
Previous paralegal experience with knowledge of banking/regulatory sector.
Understanding of the UK regulations not exhausting; Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), and the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA).
Able to prepare impact statements, maintain dashboards and other trackers.
Good communication skills and able to work proactively and as part of a team.Next steps
