Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detailed Paralegal to join the Adult Services Legal Team on a temporary, 14-week basis.The successful candidate will assist in delivering an efficient, effective legal service by providing direct paralegal support to the Adult Social Care team under the supervision of a Senior Lawyer.
Key Responsibilities

Legal Support: Conduct routine legal work in adult social care matters under the direct supervision of the Senior Lawyer.
*
Administrative & Team Support: Support the management team in administering team procedures, organizing team meetings, and maintaining Lexcel compliance standards.
*
Service Delivery: Carry out post duties in a pro-active, enabling manner aligned with Council policy objectives.
*
Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist with case file management, gathering documentation, preparing bundles, and other paralegal duties as required.
Requirements & Candidate Qualifications
Essential Experience & Skills
*
Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, preferably within local government or adult social care legal services.
*
Strong organizational skills and familiarity with Lexcel or quality assurance procedures.
*
Ability to work independently under hybrid/remote conditions while maintaining effective communication with senior lawyers and team members
