I’m currently working with a law firm based in Beaconsfield who are looking to recruit a dedicated experienced Paralegal to join their Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional who enjoys private client work and is looking for a long-term position where they can continue to develop their expertise, provide valuable support to fee earners and play an important role in the day-to-day running of the department.
The Role
The position will involve a combination of private client legal support and general departmental administration, including:
Assisting with wills, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
Preparing legal documents, applications and client correspondence.
Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and other third parties.
Maintaining accurate files, monitoring deadlines and supporting matters through to completion.
Assisting with client onboarding, AML checks and compliance procedures.
Managing incoming calls, emails, appointments and general administrative duties.
Supporting file opening, billing, time recording and file closure.
Providing wider administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Private Client department.
About You
The firm is keen to hear from candidates who have:
Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role, ideally within Private Client.
A good understanding of wills, probate and estate administration.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.
The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
Strong communication skills and good IT proficiency.
A flexible, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career as a Private Client paralegal.
