Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Contract Manager in Basingstoke. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
To provide paralegal support to the Information Governance Team in dealing with Freedom of Information requests, Environmental Information requests, Data Protection Subject Access Requests and all related aspects
To provide paralegal support to the Planning and Litigation team within Legal Services
To carry out legal or quasi-legal tasks that may from time to time be allocated by the Team Leader and/or Legal Services Manager
To deal with administrative matters as may from time to time be required by the Team Leader
To ensure that service delivery complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards and the organisation's policies
The candidate:
At least 2 years of similar experience, or a CILEx Paralegal Level 3
SQE 1 passed and SQE 2 working towards or CILEX Advanced Paralegal qualification
Previous experience in a similar role within the public sector is preferred
