Previous Panel Wirer experience required

Days: 8am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12pm Fridays

Based in the Cannock area

Duties of a Panel Wirer position

Perform customer specific electrical tests including continuity point to point and insulation resistance.
Functional operation, and load testing.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within the control panels, such as wiring errors, component failures, and circuit discrepancies.
Record and maintain accurate test results.
Complete job card inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
Report any non-conformance's and suggest corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to review design specifications and manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent electrical hazards.Experience required for the Panel Wirer position

Certification in relevant electrical testing or quality assurance is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Attend morning SQCDP meetings and further daily communication meetings as a member of the team to ensure their understanding of targets and objectives.
Proven experience in electrical testing, control panel testing. or a similar role.
Proficient in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and insulation Panel Wirers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Knowledge of electrical standards and safety regulations.
Ideally with a Manufacturing and Production background Additional information for the Panel Wirer role

£17 per hour - depending on experience

Days - Monday to Friday (early finish Fridays)

8am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12pm Fridays
