PANEL WIRER

We are recruiting for a Panel Wirer to work for our client who are in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A PANEL WIRER:

* Wire electrical control panels according to circuit diagrams and specifications.

* Fit and terminate cabling, components and control gear within panels.

* Test completed panels for correct function and safety before installation.

* Work closely with the Electrical Supervisor and Design Engineer to resolve any wiring or specification queries.

* Maintain accurate records of work completed and any panel modifications.

* Follow health & safety procedures at all times when working with electrical systems.

* Support fault-finding and rework on panels as needed.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* A relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in electrical installation, panel building or a related discipline; the Company is flexible on level.

* Proven experience wiring electrical control panels, ideally in an industrial or machinery environment.

* Good knowledge of electrical wiring standards, circuit diagrams and safety requirements.

* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to wiring and testing.

* Good communication skills, able to raise queries or issues clearly with supervisors and engineers.

* Full-time role.

THE HOURS:

Working on days

Monday to Thursday : 8am – 4:30pm / Friday 8am-3.30pm = 39 hours per week.

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £14.50 an hour depending on experience.
