I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business that is experiencing sustained growth due to continued success and an expanding order book. As a result, they are looking to add a skilled Panel Wirer to their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with an outstanding reputation for quality, where you'll be working on bespoke electrical control panels in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. The business values its employees, offers long-term job security, and provides genuine opportunities for career development.
As a Panel Wirer, you'll be responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring every panel is assembled to the highest quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from start to finish.
Installing and terminating cables, relays, contactors, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Carrying out point-to-point wiring.
Testing completed panels and assisting with fault finding where required.
Working closely with the production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health & safety.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter or Electrical Assembly Technician.
The ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematics (essential).
Experience wiring industrial control panels.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
