We are currently recruiting for a skilled Panel Beater to join a reputable bodyshop located in Southampton, Hampshire. Assess vehicle damage accurately to determine repair requirements and provide cost estimates
Dismantle vehicles efficiently, including removal of panels, bumpers, lights, and trims
Repair or replace damaged panels using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques
Straighten and realign vehicle frames and chassis using hydraulic equipment and measuring systems
Conduct welding and metalwork to restore vehicle structural integrity
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming, with participation in final paintwork
Reassemble vehicles and perform quality inspections to ensure safety standards are met
Liaise with customers to update on repair progress and manage expectations
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment as the Panel BeaterRequirements:
Proven experience as a Panel Beater in a bodyshop environment
Knowledge of different repair techniques including welding, panel straightening, and surface finishing
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and within tight deadlines
