We are currently recruiting for a Panel Beater to join a well-established accident repair specialist in Liverpool. This Panel Beater role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable industry leader that prioritises quality and professional development. Supportive working environment focused on safety and career growthDuties of a Panel Beater:
Perform panel repairs and replacements following company standards, Thatcham guidelines, and manufacturer protocols
Conduct welding, carry out test welds, and document results until repairs are complete
Use body filler and finish repairs with a 180-grade production paper for a smooth finish
Keep accurate records of parts required and communicate effectively with relevant departments
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring panels are stored safely and waste is disposed of properly
Protect vehicles during repairs by masking apertures and fitting seat and steering wheel covers
Store reusable parts securely to avoid damage and contamination
Report damaged or defective parts immediately to the Estimator and Production Manager
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, COSHH standards, and BS 10125 repair standards
Use personal protective equipment and uphold a safe, clean working environmentRequirements:
Proven experience as a Panel Beater, ideally IMI/ATA qualified
Strong bodyshop experience with a focus on quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Excellent team player with a strong work ethic
