Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Automotive Body Repair Technician to join an established accident repair centre in Sunderland. Applicants must have previous bodyshop experience, have completed a Panel Technician apprenticeship (or equivalent) and be confident carrying out major structural and non-structural panel repairs.
Location: Sunderland
Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE (Basic + Bonus)

Panel Beater Role
Repair and replace damaged vehicle body panels
Carry out major panel repairs, straightening and body alignment
Complete welding, bonding and panel replacement work
Perform dent removal, filler work and pin pulling
Assess vehicle damage and report additional repair requirements
Follow manufacturer repair methods and quality standards
Accurately record repair times and maintain workshop safety standards
Panel Beater Requirements
Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Automotive Body Repair Technician within a bodyshop
Completed Panel Technician apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
Ability to carry out major structural and non-structural panel repairs
Experience with welding, bonding, panel alignment and dent removal
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a bodyshop team
