Our New Company
Our client is a leading social housing contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across the region. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their established team on a permanent basis.
Your New Role
As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external decorating works across both void and occupied social housing properties. You will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.Key responsibilities include:
Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding and making good
Internal and external painting and decorating works
Wallpaper removal and minor repairs where required
Working in both tenanted and void properties
Ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales and quality standards
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Providing a professional and customer-focused service

What You Need to Do NowTo be considered for this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
Previous experience in social housing, maintenance or refurbishment projects
Ability to undertake all aspects of painting and decorating
Full UK driving licence
Strong customer service and communication skills
