Painter & Decorator
Location: Reading, Bracknell, Windsor, Ascot, Newbury and surrounding areas
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum + Bonuses
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their growing team, carrying out works across a portfolio of social housing and commercial properties throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a permanent position with a competitive salary, bonus scheme, and fuel allowance.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality internal and external painting and decorating works across a variety of occupied and vacant properties. The role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent workmanship, and the ability to work professionally in customer-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works.
Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, stripping, and making good.
Complete works within social housing properties and commercial buildings.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Liaise professionally with tenants, customers, and site teams.
Accurately record completed works and materials used.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
Experience working within social housing, maintenance, refurbishment, or commercial environments.
Strong preparation and finishing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Must be able to successfully pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential where suitable experience can be demonstrated.
