Description:
Rg setsquare is actively looking for Painter and decorator.
Location: Bath
Duration: Ongoing
CSCS preferred
Key Duties:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or holes.
Apply primer, paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix and match paint colors to meet project specifications.
Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic coverings.
Remove old paint, wallpaper, and damaged coatings before repainting.
Operate and maintain painting tools, ladders, scaffolding, and spray equipment safely.
Inspect finished work to ensure quality, smoothness, and color consistency.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
