Paint / Coatings Sprayer
Location: Atherton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £16.60 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Paint / Coatings Sprayer to join our growing team in Atherton. Working within a heavy engineering environment, you will be responsible for the preparation, application and finishing of protective coating systems on a variety of fabricated and engineered components.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting and coating applications.
Apply industrial paint systems using spray equipment.
Mix and apply two-pack (2K) paint systems in accordance with specifications.
Apply protective coatings to engineered and fabricated steelwork.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved.
Maintain spray equipment and work areas to a high standard.
Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
Work effectively to production schedules and project deadlines.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in industrial paint spraying.
Experience working with two-pack (2K) paint systems.
Strong knowledge of paint spraying and coating application techniques.
Ability to interpret job specifications and follow coating procedures.
Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Requirements
Experience applying coatings to structural steelwork.
ICATS qualification.
Experience within heavy engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or industrial environments.
