Role and responsibilities of Painter:

As part of our decorating team, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of internal and external painting works within residential properties.

Your duties will include:

Preparing surfaces for decoration, including filling, sanding and making good
Applying paints, stains and decorative finishes to a professional standard
Undertaking both interior and exterior decorating projects
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to residents
Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and workmanship
Providing a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers and occupantsHealth and safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues and residents.

Painter Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised qualification in PaintiNVQNVQNVQ& Decorating such as NVQ NVQLevel 2, or equivalent practical experience
Previous experience within residential maintenance, housing, repairs or a similar environment
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes
Strong customer service and communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
