MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Vehicle Paint Technician based in Leeds or surrounding areas.
MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are representing a leading automotive repair garage dedicated in providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. The repair centre is seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join their team in Leeds.
As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to ensure they are completed to a high standard, adhering to the guidelines
* Preparing vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming surfaces
* You will need good knowledge of mixing paint, colour matching to achieve the correct colour and consistency to ensure a perfect and seamless finish
* You will have an array of experience with paint application, using various techniques
* You will also be responsible for masking, prepping, priming and polishing the vehicle
* Ensure a clean working environment
* You will adhere to the safety procedures, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials
* Working closely with the team
* Be able to manage your work load
As a Paint Technician, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Paint Technician in an accident repair centre / bodyshop
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive body repairs
* NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 / ATA Qualified
* Strong communication skills
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday: 8:30AM to 5PM (30 minute break deduction)
