Paint Sprayer / Warehouse Operative
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent / Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hands-on Paint Sprayer / Warehouse Operative to join their team in Oxford.
This is a varied role combining industrial paint spraying, preparation and finishing with general warehouse and production duties. The successful candidate will be practical, hardworking and able to work to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing components and surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking and preparation.
Applying industrial paint/coatings using spray-painting equipment.
Ensuring painted components meet the required quality and finish standards.
Checking finished products for defects and carrying out any necessary touch-ups.
Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and the working area.
Handling and moving materials and components safely around the warehouse.
Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
Maintaining accurate stock and warehouse records.
Keeping the warehouse and production areas clean, organised and safe.
Following company health & safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE.
Supporting other warehouse and production activities as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in paint spraying, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing a quality finish.
Be comfortable carrying out physical warehouse duties.
Be reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in.
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Have a good understanding of workplace health and safety.
Be willing to learn new processes and equipment.Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
