Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a Powder Coating Paint Sprayer for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Morley, LS27.
We are seeking a Powder Coating Paint Sprayer to prepare and coat metal parts to customer specifications. This role operates spray equipment, monitors curing, checks finished work for quality, and keeps the coating area clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean, inspect, mask, and hang parts before coating.
* Set up and operate powder coating spray guns and related equipment.
* Apply an even finish while meeting specified coverage, colour, and thickness requirements.
* Load and unload curing ovens and follow the required cure settings.
* Inspect finished parts for defects, make approved touch-ups, and report quality issues.
* Maintain equipment, record production information, and keep the work area organized.
* Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
Candidate Requirements
* Powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
* Ability to read work orders and follow written coating specifications.
* Good attention to detail and basic troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and handle parts weighing up to [weight], with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
* Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a production team.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm,
Pay rate:
£14.35 per hour
