Paint Shop Operative

We've got a large manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk who are in need of a paint shop operative to start immediately!

Our client will consider someone without paint shop experience however having a counterbalance forklift license would be highly beneficial and could command the higher rates of pay.

The starting salary for the position would be £11.44 however there is the opportunity to earn £12.20ph with the right skills and experience.

Paint Shop Operative Duties include: -

Mixing paints & colour matching
All prep work, prior to spraying, shot blasting etc.
Responsible for ensuring the maintenance & repair of equipment, i.e., changing filters
Make sure the production schedule is followed
You will need your own mode of transport due to the remote location of the company.

This role is a standard working week 08:00 17:00 Monday to Friday
