Paediatric Support Workers – Portsmouth
Location: Portsmouth
Job Type: Flexible / Bank
Health Now Complex Care is currently looking for Paediatric Support Workers, Healthcare Assistants and Care Workers to join our growing bank team in Portsmouth.
You will be supporting children and young people with complex physical and/or mental health needs within their homes and the community.
About the role

Providing person-centred care and support to children and young people
*
Supporting individuals with complex physical and/or mental health needs
*
Assisting with personal care and daily activities where required
*
Supporting with community activities and appointments
*
Working as part of a wider care team to ensure safe and consistent support
We’re looking for candidates with:
*
Previous experience working with children or young people
*
Experience in complex care, healthcare or home care
*
A caring, patient and reliable approach
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
Flexibility to work a range of shifts
Experience with PEG, tracheostomy, respiratory care, seizures, autism, mental health or other complex care needs would be beneficial.
Training can be provided depending on the package and your existing experience.
