About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Paediatric Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a non-mobile child with complex medical needs in Leicester, LE3.
The ideal candidate will have experience in paediatric nursing, be confident in managing complex clinical needs, and be committed to ensuring the child's safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 12 months of UK nursing experience.
* Valid NMC registration.
* Experience in paediatric nursing and caring for children with complex medical needs.
* Knowledge or experience of NIV, PEP mask therapy, deep suctioning, catheter care, and PEG feeding.
* Experience managing seizures and administering buccal medication.
* Understanding of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) and seizure management.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
* Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance and care plans.
* A commitment to safeguarding, patient safety, and high standards of care.
