Opportunity to join a leading UK food manufacturing group in a newly created Packaging Technologist role.
As Packaging Technologist, you'll be joining a supportive NPD & Innovation team, developing innovative new packaging solutions. You'll be working closely with the product development team, to devise effective and creative packaging for chilled food products. These are supplied into leading UK food brands on the high street.
Working closely with the Packaging Development Manager, you'll source innovative new packaging materials from suppliers, ensuring it meets customers' requirements and sustainability targets. You'll research the market to ensure the business continues to lead the way in innovation, identifying new opportunities to drive packaging improvements.
The role involves ensuring all NPD and EPD projects meet key deadlines and the right packaging data is tracked. It will require good organisational skills and attention to detail.
This is an ideal role for a recent graduate with an interest in Packaging Innovation, sustainability, and the food sector.

What you'll need -
Some experience gained in Packaging Development - ideally within Food or Drink - this can be a placement year
Confidence to liaise with colleagues across the business at all levels and with external suppliers/customers
