Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to join Gwent Police and work as the PA to the Office Police Crime Commissioner.

This is a temporary role role working Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. The role is initially for 6 months with a possibility of being extended there after.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for senior executives.
Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents for meetings.
Handle written correspondence, including drafting emails, letters, and reports.
Assist with call handling, filtering inquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
Maintain confidential files and records related to executive matters.
Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders as needed.Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, understanding their priorities, and proactively managing their schedules.

Typing Speed

Proficient typing skills with accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.

Technology Proficiency

Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook email, and calendar tools).
