Description:

Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a leading charity dedicated to improving lives and fostering change. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Director of People and Culture.

As a Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to the Director, enabling them to effectively lead and achieve the charity's organisational goals. This is a key role in ensuring the Director's time is managed efficiently and their contributions are maximised.

Job Title: Personal Assistant to Director of People and Culture

Location: London Office

Contract Type: Part Time (21 hours per week)

Contract Length: 4 Months Fixed Term

Salary: £19,150 (£31,918 FTE equivalent)

Responsibilities:

Enabling Effectiveness:

Prioritise information and requests for the Director's attention.
Manage the Director's diary and organise work practices for optimal efficiency.
Support team discussions and decision-making processes. Co-ordinating Activities:

Monitor and manage actions and decisions linked to the Director.
Gather information to brief the Director for meetings and key tasks.
Arrange meetings and performance reviews for the Director's direct reports.
Assist with procurement and financial processes within the directorate. Supporting Change:

Participate in project teams and working groups for new initiatives.
Demonstrate the charity's values and culture through your actions. Facilitating Connections:

Collaborate across directorates and support cross-organisational projects.
Share best practices with other Personal Assistants to enhance administrative processes. Person Specification:

Previous experience as a Personal Assistant.
Ability to resolve problems and respond to enquiries on behalf of a senior manager.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Skills in Microsoft Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote.
Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
