P6 Planner or Senior P6 Planner

Planner or Senior Planner needed!

Location: Exeter
Role Overview: Join a dynamic Planning team as a Planner or Senior Planner! You'll play a key role in ensuring project plans are realistic, monitored, and updated effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help Project Management by creating and maintaining integrated programmes for design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Produce and update baseline programmes regularly.
• Monitor progress, identify issues early, and provide solutions.
• Minimize risk by identifying critical paths.
• Generate look-ahead programmes as needed.
• Enable resource planning with detailed programme analysis.
• Advise Project Managers on NEC contract obligations.
• Report progress using predetermined metrics.
• Contribute to Progress Reports.
• Support contract and progress review meetings.
• Manage procurement schedules for materials and equipment.
• Prepare As Built programmes.
• Assist with programme submissions for time extensions.
• Produce delay programmes for Compensation Event costings.
• Support the Senior Planning Manager as needed.

About You:
• Ideally experience in the Water/Wastewater industry.
• Background in Civil Engineering, M&E, or Building.
• Strong understanding of NEC Contracts.
• Skilled in planning and programming techniques.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
• Knowledge of Commercial, Health & Safety, and Environmental requirements.
