Role Description: External Sales – Non-Mechanical Equipment Hire
Location: Reading
Pay: £30,000 - £40,000 + Quarterly Bonus + Hybrid Car
The Company
One of the UK’s largest suppliers of non-mechanical access systems, scaffolding and safety products for hire and sale. Through a nationwide network of branches and lorry fleet it provides a full hire and sale service to the Construction, Events, Industrial and Utility sectors.
The Role & Responsibilities
As an External Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business and managing existing accounts in the non-mechanical hire sector across the Reading. You will be primarily selling into the construction sector, targeting main and subcontractors.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to grow revenue and market share in the non-mechanical hire sector.
* Identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
* Managing and growing existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborating with our technical team to develop customized solutions for our clients.
* Negotiating contracts and closing deals.
* Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and reports.
* On the road 4 days a week visiting customers and job sites.
The Ideal Candidate
* A proven track record of success in B2B sales.
* preferably experience in the non-mechanical hire sector or general hire.
* Driven & Motivated to succeed.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A strategic mindset and the ability.
