Job Opportunity: Outreach Worker - Part-Time (30 Hours, Including Evenings & Weekends)
Salary: £21,840

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of homeless individuals in the Spelthorne area? We're seeking a dedicated Outreach Worker to join our team and support clients in transitioning from our supported housing homeless scheme to independent living.

As an Outreach Worker, you'll work closely with a caseload of clients, providing essential assistance in setting up their new homes and offering ongoing support to maintain their tenancies. Your role will involve connecting tenants with relevant services and activities to promote their wellbeing and success within the community.

What we're looking for:

Experience or knowledge of the resettlement process to offer practical and emotional support to clients.
A strong background in supported housing work, including key working with adults facing homelessness and complex needs.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and a solid understanding of Safeguarding legislation.
Comprehensive knowledge of the welfare benefits system, particularly as it pertains to single homeless individuals.
A full driving license and access to a vehicle for traveling within the Borough.

To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an enhanced DBS check, once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.
