Vacancy Brief:
* The role is that of an Outreach Support Worker.
* This is a Temp vacancy for three months.
* A full-time role, 35 hours per week
* Shift Pattern is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
* Pay rate for this job role is £12.66 PAYE Or £16.14 Umbrella.
* Location based role, successful candidate will be covering South Norfolk and Breckland areas.
* Candidate will require a full UK Drivers license and access to a vehicle.
* Mileage will be paid for any work-related travel.
* A current Enhanced DBS will be required for this job role.
The Responsibilities:
* As a Support worker, you will develop a move-on plan with service users at the earliest opportunity, identifying realistic options for independent or more appropriate housing.
* Part of your role as a Support worker will be to empower and motivate service users to Identify and achieve desired outcomes.
* You will actively engage with service users in decisions that affect them.
* An important part of your role as a Support Worker will be to provide housing related support to vulnerable individuals together with providing housing and property management with the aim of achieving a successful move-on and other measurable outcomes including supporting service users to achieve independence.
* Furthermore, you will carry out property inspections and report repairs promptly to ensure the organisation provides quality homes for their clients.
