Job Title: Outdoor Activity Instructor - Learning Behaviour Mentor
Location: Huddersfield, HD2
School Type: Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) School
Pay: £85 - £100 per day DOE
Working Hours: 08:15 - 15:30
Engage Education are pleased to be hiring for a Learning Behaviour Mentor with Outdoor Activity Instructor or Forestry experience for a permanent position in an SEMH school in the HD2 area of Huddersfield. The successful candidate must have experience as a Residential Activity Leader and/or be confident in delivering forestry and must also hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
Are you an outdoorsy-person who is looking for a fun and interactive role where you can introduce core life skills to young children and integrate with their learning development? Are you a strong-willed individual capable of commanding the interest of children with various outdoor activities? With a role where no two days are the same, this is position as a Learning Behaviour Mentor may be for you.
This role will be working with children on a 1-1 basis with:
* Autism Spectrum Disorder
* Social Emotional Mental Health
* Challenging Behaviours
It is also advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning, but not a requirement.
About the role:
* Earn up to £500 per week
* Full-time position (Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm)
* 1:1 support for special needs and lower ability pupils
* Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
* Supporting students with challenging behaviour
