This is a standalone specialist role with significant visibility and influence across the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver projects that will impact a large employee population.

Client Details

This is a brand-new HR Business Partner (Organisational Development) position, reporting directly to the Head of Organisational Development and working closely with the wider People, Learning & Development and operational teams.

The role is primarily based in Aylesbury, with an expectation of approximately one day per week in the office alongside occasional travel to regional sites across surrounding locations as required.

As part of an exciting period of investment in organisational development, they are seeking an experienced HR professional to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Description

The role will focus on designing and delivering key organisational development initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, improve employee development opportunities and support long-term succession planning across a large and geographically dispersed workforce.

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing succession planning and talent management frameworks.
Leading workforce analysis projects to identify future capability needs and talent risks.
Designing and embedding mentoring programmes that support career progression and internal mobility.
Supporting leadership and career development initiatives.
Partnering with stakeholders on organisational development and change projects.
Using people data and insights to inform workforce planning decisions.
Collaborating with HR, Learning & Development and operational leaders to deliver integrated people solutions.
Supporting employee engagement, inclusion and organisational effectiveness initiatives.
Contributing to volunteering and employee development programmes that enhance organisational culture.Profile

We are interested in speaking with HR and Organisational Development professionals who have delivered impactful people projects within large or complex organisations.

You will bring:

Experience in Organisational Development, HR Business Partnering or Talent Development roles.
A strong track record of delivering projects such as succession planning, mentoring, talent management, workforce planning or leadership development.
Experience influencing stakeholders and building effective relationships across multiple functions.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
The ability to analyse workforce data and translate insights into practical solutions.
Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.Industry background is less important than your ability to successfully deliver organisational development initiatives and drive meaningful change.
