Order Picker / Dispatch Operative

Description:

We're looking for an Order Picker / Dispatch Operative to join a friendly warehouse team in Audenshaw. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in doing a job properly. You'll be picking orders using a voice headset system, helping with dispatch, and supporting general warehouse duties. Some FLT work (Flexi and Reach truck) may be involved, although a licence isn't essential as training can be provided for the right person.

What you'll be doing:
* Picking orders using a voice-operated headset
* Preparing goods for dispatch
* General warehouse and labouring duties
* Operating an FLT where required (desirable but not essential)
* Working accurately and safely at all times
What we're looking for:
* Good attention to detail
* Basic maths skills
* The role involves manual handling and being on your feet for most of the shift
* A full driving licence and your own transport due to the location
* FLT experience would be an advantage
* Harness training is beneficial but not essential
Hours: Rotating shifts 39.5 hours per week
* Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am-2:30pm | Friday, 6:00am-1:30pm
* Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:00pm-10:00pm | Friday, 12:30pm-6:00pm
* Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am-6:00pm | Friday, 9:00am-2:30pm
What's on offer:
* Permanent position

* Training and development opportunities
* Stable, long-term employment with a well-established business
If you're reliable, hard-working and looking for a long-term warehouse role with a great team, we'd love to hear from you.
