Description:
We are looking for an Oral Care Laboratory Technician for our client based in Ashford!
Immediate Start - Temporary Contract
Working hours: Monday - Friday 36.25 hrs per week
Core Responsibilities:
Oil Labs:
Compound oral care flavour oils for trials and research.
Ensure high standards of quality, precision, and hygiene.
Label expiry dates on pre-blends.Applications Labs:
Prepare oral care flavours for creative, marketing, sales, and innovation teams.
Record raw material details and ensure batch quality.
Perform physical/chemical measurements and maintain sample library.
Order and manage stock of raw materials and maintain lab organization.Multi-Lab Responsibilities:
Support flavourists with paperwork and sample despatch.
Prioritize work using LCMS and manage raw material stocks using SAP.
Taste and assess application samples for stability testing.
Maintain a safe, clean lab environment following EH&S policies and GMP guidelines.Additional Responsibilities:
Collect new oils from the compounding factory.
Assist in investigating non-conformance or quality failures.
Provide holiday cover as needed.Qualifications:
Technical training or Diploma in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related fields.Technical Skills:
Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
Basic mathematical skills and IT competency (LCMS, SAP, Microsoft Office).
Good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Knowledge of GLP, GMP, and ISO protocols is advantageous.Apply Now
