Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Developer to join the team.

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Job Type/Hours: Full-time, permanent

This role is essential for developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders and the community.

Oracle Developer– The Role:

The Oracle Developer will be responsible for developing and optimising Oracle applications and databases. This includes writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code, working with Oracle APEX, developing APIs, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to understand and implement requirements.

Oracle Developer– Key Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and implement Oracle applications and databases

- Write and optimise SQL and PL/SQL code

- Develop applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)

- Develop and maintain APIs to integrate with other systems

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Oracle applications

- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and understand requirements

- Create and maintain technical documentation for Oracle applications

- Ensure data integrity and security within Oracle databases

- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for software development

- Provide support and maintenance for existing Oracle applications

Oracle Developer– You:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

-Proven experience as an Oracle Developer or similar role

-Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL

-Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX)

-Experience in API development and integration

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

-Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

-Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

-Certification in Oracle (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)
