Operative, Cockermouth, £13.07 per hour.
Our client a well established global manufacturing company is recruiting for Operatives to join them on a temporary basis for a period of around 6 months.
Working 8.00am- 16.00pm Monday-Thursday & 8.00am- 13.00pm each Friday.
Duties:
Supporting operators with daily tasks and processes
Reviewing and following job order paperwork
Cutting rubber to specified lengths
Weighing materials accurately
Labelling products and preparing them for storage
Storing items correctly on designated shelves
Maintaining a clean and organised storage area at all times
Ensuring rubber materials, shelves, and storage boxes are kept clean and tidy
Updating and maintaining a spreadsheet with rubber stock and weights
Experience/Requirements:
Previous manufacturing or production experience required
Computer literate with basic IT skills
Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
