Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join their on-site team at a commercial static site in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional looking to take the next step into a supervisory role, offering a varied position with strong career progression and long-term stability.
 
What you'll do:

Oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services systems.
Support the engineering team in maintaining systems including lighting, power distribution, HVAC plant, pumps, motors, and general building services equipment.
Supervise the day-to-day activities of engineers, ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Assist with minor administrative duties including maintenance scheduling, compliance records, and service reporting.
Provide occasional oversight of soft services to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.
Liaise with contractors, clients, and site stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery and operational performance. What you'll bring:

City & Guilds / NVQ in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
Previous facilities management or building services experience within a commercial environment.
Experience supervising engineers or coordinating maintenance activities.
Good understanding of electrical and mechanical building services systems.
