We have recently announced our commitment to become carbon neutral by 2032 and Net Zero by 2042, as well as our substantial investment in infrastructure, port services and towage to support the build out of the UK’s renewable energy sector, including offshore wind. Now is an exciting time to join us as we embark on this exciting, transformational journey.

About the role

The Port of Leith specialises in handling cargoes such as aggregates, grains, animal feed, steel, recycled products together with general and break-bulk cargoes. We also have a large number of seasonal cruise liner visits spanning each year.

In addition, we service Oil & Gas support vessels and we look forward to playing a key role in the developing renewables industry.

As Operations Supervisor you will provide operational supervisory support to ensure that a safe and cost-effective service is provided for the loading and discharge of cargoes along with the organisation of our warehousing activity. *

Work in accordance to ISO 9001, TASCC & OFF procedures to ensure these accreditations are maintained to industry standards.

*

Carry out continuous Port Operator plant competency assessments in alignment with our Company protocols.

*

Establish positive customer relationships by maintaining regular contact with customers and shipping agents.

Experience of working in a unionised environment would also be advantageous.

*

Full UK driving license.
