You will……
As an Operations Supervisor you will be joining a mature Operational Management team with an established Lean / Operational Excellence culture, working with the Operations Managers you will be responsible for day to day management of team of 15-20 associates:
* To ensure that all local and global KPI’s are met in full – both service and productivity.
* To ensure strong operational planning, control and monitoring of all team member performances leading to an improvement in accuracy and productivity
* To ensure a continuous improvement LEAN / Operational Excellence culture throughout the distribution centre maximising efficiency
* To ensure a safe and secure environment across all areas of the distribution centre in line with current Health and Safety guidelines and 5S Culture
* Own individual projects with defined timelines
* Work with and train others as appropriate to create, capture, organise and store process knowledge, in a manner that supports effective and efficient retrieval and re-use
* To support the operational management team as needed in all areas of the business.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have…
* Experience managing a team in FMCG environment
* Proven track record of successful management and accomplishments implementing productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Strong bias for action, can communicate vision clearly and be a driver of change.
* Basic understanding of ERP / WMS / MHS systems
