Operations Manager – M&E
SSA are recruiting an Operations Manager on behalf of a specialist Mechanical & Electrical contractor. You will oversee the delivery of multiple projects, supporting project teams and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.

Our client is a specialist Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering technically demanding construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in operational performance, work closely with senior management and influence project delivery across the business.
Key responsibilities

Oversee multiple M&E projects, ensuring delivery against programme, budget and quality requirements.

Lead and support project managers, coordinating resources and monitoring performance.
*
Review project progress, identify risks and implement solutions to keep works on track.
*
Work closely with commercial teams to manage costs, variations and project profitability.
*
Build strong relationships with clients, main contractors and supply chain partners.
*
Maintain health and safety standards and drive improvements in operational processes.
Requirements
*
Minimum three years’ experience in an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or senior project management role within M&E contracting.
*
Strong track record delivering multiple mechanical and electrical projects.
*
Good understanding of project programmes, commercial performance and resource planning.
*
Experience leading project teams and managing client relationships.
*
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*
Relevant building services or engineering qualification, or equivalent practical experience
