Operations Manager - Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
* Daily management of the full manufacturing process and Team.
* Implement and maintain systems and processes that drive continuous improvements in all manufacturing activities.
* Exemplary management of Health & Safety, ensuring that all employees work with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and comply with the Company’s safety policy.
* Operations planning and managing day today scheduling, long term planning and capacity planning.
* Work collaboratively with support functions to ensure the effective running of the production areas.
* Develop and lead a high-performing team to ensure the highest standards are delivered and provide guidance, coaching and training for those responsible for the day-to-day production operations.
* Working with the People team to ensure timely completion of all associated people processes, such as recruitment, investigations, disciplinary and performance management.
* Ensure engagement of the team and drive KPIs and achieve targets.
* Responsibility for meeting and exceeding training requirements, identifying skill gaps and developing the team.
* Work on developing and implementing a succession plan.
* Carrying out performance reviews with staff.
* Management of throughput and KPI Targets
Requirements:
* Outstanding people management and development abilities with fantastic interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven experience of making improvements within a manufacturing business
* An independently minded, decisive, problem solver!

* Operational expertise in process flow management
* Forward thinking with substantial operational and people management experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

Salary: Negotiable and Package
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
