Operations Manager, required for a prestigious boutique hotel, located in the Canterbury area, Kent. This opportunity will suit a candidate with a hotel background, to include Bar / Cocktail Bar / Brasserie style operations, now looking to move in to a more general management role within a hotel.
As Operations Manager, the ideal candidate:
* Will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the hotel along with your team.
* This role will suit a candidate who holds a role currently, as a hotel Operations Manager / Deputy Hotel Manager / Food & Beverage Manager in a food and beverage led property – hotel or brasserie style restaurant, or Bar Manager - Cocktail Bar.
* In additional, you will need to be hands on, on the floor during service times, driving standards forward and ensuring systems and procedures are in place and followed to ensure customer satisfaction and company objectives fulfilled, adhering to statutory regulations.
* You will be involved with recruitment, development, discipline, training and coaching of your Team, with strong leadership skills, to ensure standards and service levels are maintained and further developed.
* Duty management will form part of your duties leading from the front which, will include working on the traditional busy shifts - Friday, Saturday and Sunday on rota.
* You will be have admin and financial management skills, budgeting and development of sales, which are essential along with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Salary for Operations Manager, is given as negotiable, working 5 days over 7 - basic salary plus a potential bonus. Please advise your salary expectations. Live out only. Transport will be required due to the nature of the shifts.
