Description:

Next Step Recruitment Solutions is working with an established care provider who is expanding from their Coventry base into a new Northampton territory. They're looking for an Operations Manager who can hold both patches together: protecting quality and compliance where the business is already established, while building something new where it isn't.

Northampton is a genuine ground-floor opportunity. The provider currently has 10 clients there and no office yet, so this role carries real ownership over how that territory grows.

What You'll Be Doing

* Managing day-to-day operations across Coventry and Northampton

* Acting as a hands-on leader in Northampton as the newer, growing territory

* Stepping in to deliver care visits personally where needed, particularly in Northampton while the local team is still being built

* Ensuring consistent quality, compliance and standards across both locations

* Supporting business development and client retention with a commercial mindset

* Line managing local teams and building operational structure as Northampton scales

What We're Looking For

* Registered Manager experience within domiciliary care or supported living (CQC registration background essential)

* Strong operational track record: rotas, compliance, safeguarding, quality assurance

* Commercial awareness, ideally with experience growing or supporting business development in a care setting

* Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Coventry and Northampton

* Genuinely hands-on approach, including willingness to deliver care visits directly when the rota or Northampton's early-stage capacity requires it

* A builder's mindset: someone energised by starting something rather than only maintaining it

What's On Offer

* £45,000 - £50,000 salary

* The chance to genuinely shape a new territory rather than inherit an existing structure

* Autonomy across two sites, reporting into senior leadership

Please note: this role is only open to candidates who already hold the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available
