Operations Manager – UK & Americas

Oliver Belle Recruitment is partnering with a growing international manufacturing and distribution business to appoint an experienced Operations Manager. This is a pivotal role responsible for coordinating operational activity across the UK and North America, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, optimising processes and supporting continued business growth.

We're seeking a commercially minded and highly organised operations professional who can confidently manage priorities across multiple departments, suppliers, locations and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

*

Act as the key operational link between UK and North American teams.

*

Coordinate activity across production, logistics, warehousing, procurement and supply chain functions.

*

Support the ongoing expansion of operations across the US market.

*

Collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver operational strategy and long-term growth objectives.

Supplier & Commercial Management

*

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers and operational partners.

*

Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial agreements relating to materials, freight, storage and facilities.

*

Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels and efficiency.

*

Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and operational standards.

Production & Inventory Planning

*

Coordinate production planning activities across manufacturing operations.

*

Work closely with international teams to manage supply requirements and production shortfalls.

*

Maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple locations.

*

Support forecasting and stock planning in line with growth objectives.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

*

Oversee the efficient movement of goods across international markets.

*

Liaise with logistics providers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.

*

Monitor shipments, proactively identify risks and resolve operational issues.

*

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and shipping documentation requirements.

Process Improvement & Reporting

*

Identify and implement improvements to operational systems and processes.

*

Support the rollout of scalable procedures to facilitate continued growth.

*

Track key operational KPIs and provide regular reporting to senior management.

*

Drive continuous improvement across performance, communication and service delivery.

About You

*

Proven experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing management.

*

Strong commercial acumen and supplier management experience.

*

Experience working across international markets and multiple time zones.

*

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

*

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
