Are you an Operations Manager looking for your next challenge?
Currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager for a fast-growing Manufacturing company. This role will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager keen to support an expanding business within the Coventry area.
Role responsibilities –
For the role of Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all subcontract activities in the business which include new part introduction, making technical instructions and data cards etc.
Site quality lead to manage company quality systems which include Audits, calibration, maintenance and corrective actions.
You will evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators for the role of Operations Manager.
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
For the role of Operations Manager, you will be improving manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
Role requirements –
For the role of Operations Manager, you will have experience within a similar role and a background within manufacturing operations.
RFT and JIT experience is required for the role as well as any other lean manufacturing tools.
Experience managing teams within a busy production environment.
