Operations Manager (Transport/ Driving) Package Overview:
· Circa £45,000 to £47,000 per annum depending on experience, negotiable

Our client, a leader in their industry, are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join their highly their valued team on a full-time permanent basis.

Operations Manager (Transport/ Driving) Role and Responsibilities:
· Manage a team of drivers
· Lead and manage all bus and coach operations
· Ensure the quality of service is efficient and consistent
· Deal with any customer service issues
· Carry out appraisals
· Address any training needs
· Proactively manage any staff performance issues
· Ensure the Operator’s licence undertakings are adhered too
· Staff planning
· Ensure vehicles are correctly allocated (livery, branding, emissions)
· Ensure drivers depart on time
· Ensure tasks are allocated efficiently
· Manage staff absence
· Manage vehicle changeovers
· Ensure the controllers (inbound and outbound)
· Manage any defects
· Ensure all activity is accurately recorded
· Ensure accident forms are completed
· Revenue checking
· Ensure CPC Cards are checked daily
Operations Manager (Transport/ Driving) Skills and Experience:
· A full UK driving licence or equivalent
· Transport Manager CPC
· Excellent health and safety knowledge
· Excellent knowledge and understanding of the British Domestic Hours Rules, as defined within the Transport Act 1968 and the Working Time Regulations 1998
· Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of transport systems (OmniDas, Ticketer, Vimcar, Coach Manager, RotaCloud)
· A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
· A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
