Operations Manager
£25.00 per hour | Immediate Start | Temporary until End of Year
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of education catering operations across West Sussex.
Managing a patch of 3-4 areas (potentially up to 7), you'll support Area Managers, drive operational performance, ensure compliance, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of Area Managers across multiple locations
* Build strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders
* Ensure food safety, compliance, and service standards are consistently met
* Monitor financial performance and operational targets
* Resolve operational challenges and implement improvements
* Drive team performance, engagement, and developmen
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous Operations Manager experience
* A strong catering or contract catering background
* Multi-site management experience
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
Details:
* Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
* 37.5 hours per week
* Travel across West Sussex sites with a mix of home and office working
* £25.00 per hour
* Full UK Driving Licence and own transport essential
