About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join a growing financial services organisation based in Leeds/Wetherby. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams.
As Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Manage daily operational processes to ensure service standards and KPIs are consistently achieved.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.
Monitor operational performance, producing management information and reports for senior stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and risk management procedures.
Collaborate with departments including Compliance, Finance, Customer Services, and IT to deliver business objectives.
Manage operational risks, escalating issues where appropriate and implementing corrective actions.
Support business change initiatives, including system implementations and process transformation projects.
Oversee resource planning and workforce management to meet business demands.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.About You:
Previous experience in an Operations Manager or Senior Operations role within financial services.
Strong knowledge of working within a regulated environment (FCA experience desirable).
Proven experience leading and developing teams.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience improving operational processes and delivering change.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using operational reporting tools.
