A growing company that maximises the service performance of process plants and equipment offering tailored concepts to their clients for transporting bulk materials. Thanks to the success of the company, they are now recruiting an Operations Manager.
What will you do as Operations Manager?
* Main point of contact for all operational factors for the business
* Oversee 27 staff members with 4 direct reports
* Management of two manufacturing plants in the UK
* Working with Directors on the operations strategy suggesting and implementing processes to improve efficiency
* Improve productivity within the budget allocation
* Find and implement improvements for efficiency
* Organise engineers for work at customers sites
* Visit customer’s sites to oversee work, across the Midlands
* Improve the on time delivery rate
What do you need?
* Experience within the Sheet Metal industry
* Mechanical fitting experience would be a bonus
* Proven operational management experience
* Strong ”in process” and operational procedure improvements
* An understanding of the mechanical and manufacturing industry
* Excellent all round communication skills
