Operations Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join the team in Longhope. If you have a hands-on approach and a knack for leading a diverse workforce, we want to hear from you. Paying £38,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
Working Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00.

Key Requirements:

Valid UK driving license
Forklift license and machinery experience.
A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of management experience (preferred)
Experience in warehouse or FMCG environments (preferred)Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 15 employees and agency staff.
Ensure accurate picking and timely dispatch of customer orders.
Oversee all warehouse operations and movements.
Develop and implement procedures to enhance company performance through continuous improvement.
Ensure each shift is resourced accordingly.
Collaborate with the team to redefine roles and provide necessary training.
Hold production/operations accountable for plan adherence and support improvement projects.
Manage productivity and efficiency.
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Monitor and minimise waste and stock record errors.
Liaise with the Purchasing department to optimise customer availability.Personal Attributes:
