Role Overview:

The role will be responsible for all operational responsibilities of global sites, managing 3 site managers and all related support functions. Accountable for operational strategy, execution and delivery of key P&L targets.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise the company's operations and supply chain management processes
· Accountable for budget setting and meeting business financial targets.
· Accountable for assessing commercial viability of opportunities and providing appropriate insight to board of directors in aid of effective strategic decision making
· Oversee all aspects of operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality & procurement and ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer demand.
· Responsible and accountable for compliance for local regulatory requirements
· Responsible in mapping the entire value chain and devising holistic technological/process innovations for execution over a 3-5 year plan
· Accountable for ensuring customer SLA’s are understood, measured and maintained at satisfactory levels at all times
· Responsible for effective internal cross functional communication for international customer involving Product Managers, Sales Representatives, R&D and other appropriate functions.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers
· Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations managers
· Encourage and promote a continuous improvement enthusing lean manufacturing principles
· Accountable for all HSE matters on site whilst promoting the proactive enhancement of HSE culture across all operating functions

Candidate Profile:

· MBA graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a subject related to Engineering/Manufacturing.
· 7+ years progressive experience in a key leadership/management/CI leadership role at a manufacturing facility preferably Engineering and /or polymer
· Ambition to become COO/CEO and having a personal roadmap in place an advantage
· Must have the demonstrable ability to see the whole value chain
· Strong understanding of understanding of financial and accounting practices
· Very strong strategic problem solving and analytical skills
· Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as Lean manufacturing
· Practical understanding of safety systems and policies is a must
· Experience of LVHV manufacturing environment, Plastics Manufacturing and a background in Sales and Marketing would all be an advantage
· Prepared for international travel.
