About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Delivery Manager to join their team. This role is integral to overseeing, developing, and maintaining effective operational and administrative functions to ensure the efficient delivery of ASF and Bootcamps. The Operations Delivery Manager will manage a team of 7-10 Course Leads and play a key role in driving efficiency and cultivating a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Role Overview:
The Operations Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing the administration team and ensuring that all operations meet contractual and quality requirements. This role includes supporting the strategic management of the organization with a focus on compliance and financial growth. The successful candidate will oversee administrative processes, ensure efficient course delivery, and support the Learning Coordinator Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all associated administrative processes to meet deadlines across ASF and Bootcamp contracts.
Implement efficient booking and timetabling of courses, ensuring recruitment of qualified tutors.
Continually review and evaluate systems and processes for optimal effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to Awarding Body requirements.
Collaborate with the Head of Quality Manager to drive quality and improvement in course delivery.
Line manage Learning Coordinators, ensuring quality of delivery and compliance with curriculum requirements.
Recruit, develop, and retain team members through coaching, one-on-ones, and observations.
Facilitate and lead regular team communications.
Support the delivery of operational key metrics and KPIs, meeting contract and Ofsted expectations.
Maintain a detailed understanding of sector regulatory requirements.
Motivate, inspire, and develop the team, sharing best practices and monitoring data.
Support the Managing Director in implementing strategic goals to drive quality improvements and financial growth.
Report on business activity to assist in monitoring activities and resources.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and values.
Undertake mandatory training and data protection responsibilities.
Perform other duties consistent with the general functions and grading of this position.
Essential/Desirable Criteria:
Strong general education
Level 2 qualification in IT
Educated to Level 4 or above
Low level teaching qualification
Managing operations, including administration and recruitment in a fast-paced training environment
Experience in quality and compliance, meeting Ofsted requirements
Management of various teams in an education setting
Extensive knowledge of skills – contractual and compliance measures
Supporting executive-level management to meet goals and targets
Excellent communication skills
Ability to translate strategic goals into operational processes and communicate these effectively
Strong people management skills
Proficiency in IT
Ability to analyze data, report outcomes, and influence organizational change
Ability to support others under pressure
Proactive nature and desire to drive change
Flexibility to respond to changing contract needs
Experience managing confidential information and GDPR compliance
Commitment to continuous professional development
